Hey there, mama! First of all, CONGRATULATIONS! It is a journey to get to a healthy pregnancy and no matter what yours looked like let’s take a moment to celebrate. You’re welcoming a baby into your family! It is as beautiful as it is nerve-wracking. It’s the beginning of an exciting new chapter and you have a lot to do before babe’s arrival.
When I was pregnant with Jack, I had the help of several moms who shared invaluable lists and resources that supported me in preparing me for his arrival. The list below is a collection of those resources condensed into a one-stop-shop master baby list. Use it for your registry, to prepare your hospital bag, and as a checklist to prepare for the first six months of your baby’s life. My hope in sharing is that it will make you feel more prepared and in the future, you will pay it forward to other expectant mamas.
HOT TIP: Babylist | I used this for my registry and it’s like a Zola wedding registry but for babies. It’s a website to host your registry with products from different brands. What I really love about Babylist are their guides on every possible baby product or gear you can imagine. Each product guide includes a top-five list which includes highest-rated, most expensive, and bargain buy. I loved using this as a way to make an informed choice without researching tons of products. There are so many choices out there and this helped me narrow the products that made sense for us.
HOW TO USE THIS LIST: This list for the first six months of your babe’s life. I hyperlinked the products I loved so you can easily access my recommendation. Use Babylist or your own research methods to choose what’s best for you and your family. Copy this list into a Notes list on your phone or print it out to use as a checklist. Make it your own. You know what’s best when it comes to your parenting choices and budget.
